Air to water heat pumps use air temperature from the environment as their source of energy which significantly decreases the installation costs. By using the most up-to-date technologies and types of refrigerants (HFO), our air to water pumps reach high coefficient of efficacy even at outdoor temperatures of -35⁰C. Every pump is able to heat, cool and, if constructed that way, it may also heat the warm sanitary water.
Every heat pump consists of 4 parts that represent the basis of the whole working principle and those are: Compressor, Evaporator, Condenser and an Expansion Valve.
NUCLEUS air heat pumps are delivered as functionally ready for operation, and are regularly produced with the power range of 8-22kW in 4 capacities, and if needed and upon the request, they may be produced in bigger power range as well as capacities.
All NUCLEUS air heat pumps consist of the following components:
Scroll compressor (Danfoss)
Plate exchanger for the condenser (or evaporator in the active cooling regime - Alfa Laval)
Lamella exchanger made of Al/Cu pipes for the evaporator (or for condenser in the active cooling regime)
Radial EC fan with spin regulator
Reservoir and drier filter for the refrigerant (Danfoss)
Melt regulator integrated into the controller
4-way diverter valve (Danfoss)
Electrical expansion valve (Carel)
Display NSD20 (touch sensitive, with option to be installed in room)
Modem for remote control via mobile phone application (option)
Pressure sensors on primary and secondary sides (Carel)
Flow indicator on secondary side
Sight glass for the refrigerant (Danfoss)
Integrated electric heater
Circulating pump system sides (EuP Grundfos EEI = 0.23)
Asymmetric phase relay
